Saturday, March 3, 10:30 a.m. Clean clothes are wonderful but we don’t always like the harsh chemicals and detergents that are part of the process. Class instructor Alice Sweeney has done a lot of research into the best ways to create natural cleaning products that are healthy, biodegradable, environmentally friendly and work well. Join Alice in this hand-on class to make your own natural laundry detergent, spot remover and energy-saving wool dryer balls. You will make and take home samples of each and as an added bonus, the class will be capped off by making wool-felted bars of soap. Felted soap is like having a built-in washcloth that gently defoliates your skin. This is a three-hour workshop.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or store credits will be issued if you can’t attend a class. Instructors work far in advance to prepare materials for class and they are paid whether or not you come. No exceptions.
