Sunday, December 10, Noon. With the holidays right around the corner, thoughts turn to our favorite sweet treats. Gregory Ware has won blue ribbons for his peanut brittle and caramel, so we are joyful that he’ll be here to share his recipes and tips for candy-making success. (He has won a first-place ribbon from C & H Sugar for his Chili Peanut Brittle.) Gregory will demonstrate a basic recipe for peanut brittle plus all sorts of fun ways to put your own twist on this holiday favorite. Then he will show you how to make perfect homemade caramels. Of course there will be plenty of sampling! You will take home recipes and a sample pack of goodies. This is a three-hour, tasty class.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or store credits will be issued if you can’t attend a class. Instructors work far in advance to prepare materials for class and they are paid whether or not you come. No exceptions.
