Saturday, February 9, 10:30 a.m. Mosaic artist Dave Jarvinen has created a new mosaic project that celebrates our fascination with birds. Join David to learn about using glass mosaics to create beautifully detailed portraits of one of your favorite bird species. You will learn how to use a shard nipping technique that is very flexible and forgiving. Dave will provide a variety of patterns to choose from including the Western Bluebird, Hooded Oriole, Hummingbird, and Quail. Your finished bird mosaic will measure 5 x 7 inches and is suitable for indoor display. Please bring a pair of tweezers to this to help with positioning the glass shards. This is a six-hour class.

Cancellation policy:  No refunds or store credits will be issued if you can’t attend a class. Instructors work far in advance to prepare materials for class and they are paid whether or not you come. No exceptions.
