Sunday, October 22, Noon. In this age of electronic communications, it’s still a gift to receive a unique card in the mail. Artist Clarice Rutherford crafts greeting cards that are works of art using recycled materials. Join Clarice to learn about the tools, materials and techniques for quality card making. You will learn about embossing on recycled soda cans, using recycled papers and cards, plus stamping and coloring. Each participant will receive a kit that includes a bone folder, an embossing stylus and materials for six cards. Plan on completing up to four cards during the class and you will have materials to make two more cards when you get home. The tools are yours to keep for future card making! This is a three-hour workshop.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or store credits will be issued if you can’t attend a class. Instructors work far in advance to prepare materials for class and they are paid whether or not you come. No exceptions.
