Have Lunch In Your Workshop!

Saturday, September 21, 10:30 a.m. Textile artist Alice Sweeney has come up with a pretty and practical project for keeping you cool: A hand-dyed, collapsible hat and matching fan. These lightweight, useful accessories will pack and go with you anywhere. Alice will teach you two techniques for making colorful designs on your hat and fan.The first uses dye paper that can be cut, torn and manipulated into a myriad of patterns and shapes. The second is a process using dyes from Sharpie markers. Choose your medium and create a design that is unique to you. All class materials are included. Everyone will make one hat that is easily folded into a pouch (also included), one fan, and – BONUS – a short “practice” scarf. This is a three-hour workshop.

Cancellation policy:  No refunds or store credits will be issued if you can’t attend a class. Instructors work far in advance to prepare materials for class and they are paid whether or not you come. No exceptions.
