Saturday, February 8, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. Super cook and gardener Tanya Chakravarty will share her expertise on cooking our favorite superfoods – dark leafy greens! You’ll learn about preparing tasty greens using two of her favorites, Swiss chard and beet greens. To say that greens are delicious and nutritious is an understatement. Chard is a darling of the paleo diet and packs a much bigger nutritional punch than spinach. Beet greens are an easy, healthy addition to so many dishes. Not only are they delightful, they are low in calories and jam-packed with vitamins. Greens are known for cancer prevention, anti-inflammation properties and heart health. Of course, there will be sampling and Tanya will send you home with yummy recipes. This workshop will last 30 to 40 minutes.
