Ceramic Holiday Ornaments – November 2

12 in stock

Saturday, November 2, 10:30 a.m. Artist Yvonne Allen has translated her love of handcrafted tiles into a class on making keepsake holiday ornaments. Workshop participants will use cutters and patterns to create a variety of ornament shapes using red clay. Motifs include a Christmas tree, star, saguaro cactus, elephant, butterfly, owl along with other shapes to create festive ornaments for a tree. Or, use them as a special gift tag! Next you’ll use bright glazes to add color and dimension. Everyone will make up to eight ornaments and each will measure from three to four inches long. Yvonne will take your ornaments to her kiln for firing and return them for pick up at Southwest Gardener in about two weeks – just in time for tree decorating. This class will take no more than three hours.

Cancellation policy: No refunds or store credits will be issued if you can’t attend a class. Instructors work far in advance to prepare materials for class and they are paid whether or not you come. No exceptions.
