Cactus Luminaria – February 2, 2 p.m.

Out of stock

Saturday, February 2, 2 p.m. We’re going to do this workshop twice in a day! SOLD OUT. Light up your garden or home with a pair of desert-inspired Cactus Luminaria. This is a brand new project for Southwest Gardener created by ceramic artists Musette Young and Deb Betz. You will start with two hand-thrown clay orbs which you will then embellish with your own cactus like designs. Deb and Musette will teach you to form flowers, spines, or anything that makes your luminaria perfect for you. You will then glaze your pieces to add color and depth. Each participant makes two luminarias. They will go to an off-site kiln to be fired and Deb and Musette will return them for you to pick them up in about two weeks. This is a three-hour class.

Cancellation policy:  No refunds or store credits will be issued if you can’t attend a class. Instructors work far in advance to prepare materials for class and they are paid whether or not you come. No exceptions.
