Sunday, October 21, Noon. Stitch your way into the world of contemporary embroidery and create a creative cactus sampler that you will be proud to hang in your home. Artist Linda Arandas is returning with a project to teach you the basics – and some fancy moves – of embroidery. Linda will share her passion for stitching while demonstrating five basic stitches and a few tricks that will start your embroidery journey. Linda is well-organized and a patient teacher, and her students always praise their experiences with her. Using Linda’s techniques, you will be ready to make many more stitched artworks for yourself or as gifts. No experience is necessary. Once you master the stitching we bet you’ll enjoy the peaceful qualities of embroidery. Class fee includes quality instruction, a hoop, needle, fabric and enough floss to complete your project.
