Katie will be making appointments to meet with you here at Southwest Gardener in our design studio or on-site at your property. Small or large, one plant or many, Katie specializes in creating outdoor environments that mix natural elements with lifestyle accents you will love and enjoy for years to come.

Katie has a long-standing relationship with the west, having lived in Colorado, California and Arizona, so she clearly understands the special climate zones of the west, southwest and rocky mountain regions. Katie volunteered with Denver Botanic Gardens and gardened for years before moving to Phoenix. She is a Certified Desert Landscape Designer through Desert Botanical Gardens and a Certified Master Gardener through University of Arizona’s Cooperative Extension program for Maricopa County.
Katie offers desert landscaping design services focused on choosing the right plants for our unique climate as well as integrating more lush, blooming garden plants that require less water, helping you keep your water bills lower while benefiting the environment.
